As agreed upon in the previous meeting on June 14th, there will be a Tucson IANDS group meeting on Friday, July 12th, starting at 6:30 PM on the Unity of Tucson campus in Room 3 of the Annex (small building to the left of the church) 3617 N. Camino Blanco, Tucson, AZ 85718 (off River between Craycroft and Swan).
The meeting will be again conducted by Vic Smith, veteran IANDS member and author (website: victoresmith.com), filling in for Chuck Swedrock who is still out of town.
We will open with some minutes of meet-and-greet to get acquainted and share our interests in near-death experiences (NDEs) and other spiritually transformative events (STEs)
This will be followed with a review of the past and current status of IANDS in Tucson and in Arizona and the prospects for its continuation and expansion going forward, especially come Fall 2024 and beyond. All ideas, pro or con, and offers to volunteer will be welcome.
The heart of the meeting will be an open discussion led by Vic Smith with the suggested topic: How are Near-Death/Out-of-Body and other Spiritually Transformative Experiences validated through life-changing events in their aftermath. Vic will share some personal stories to get the ball rolling.
Keep in mind that the 2024 IANDS CONFERENCE will be in Phoenix from August 28-Sept. 1. It’s not too late to take advantage of this golden opportunity to experience all things IANDS in our own backyard. Perhaps someone will volunteer to organize a junket of Tucsonan IANDers to the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler AZ.
